Praying

Pursuant to Executive order 10 released by Govenor Ned Lamont on February 4, 2021 there has been a Relaxation of Limits on Religious Gatherings. Executive Order No. 7TT, Section 2, as most recently amended by Executive Order No. 9K, Section 2, is further amended to provide that religious, spiritual, or worship gatherings, if held indoors, are limited to no more than 50 percent of the venue’s capacity, and such services, if held outdoors, are limited to the number of people that can be accommodated safely by the venue or location, provided that all persons present at any such indoor or outdoor gathering wear masks, unless speaking from designated safe locations, and that a distance of 6 feet is maintained between all persons or groups not from the same household.

Although the Govenor has relaxed the limits on religious gatherings we here at St. James AME in Danbury are still obeserving virtual services.  In order to completely observe social distancing we invite you to worship with us on one of our regularly scheduled virtual church services, virtual bible studies and virtual prayer calls.   We want to reassure all of our regular and virtual members that we are doing our part to slow and eventually stop the spread of the Coronavirus by keeping our physical doors closed. But rest assured that our virtual doors are always open.

Please continue to do your part in the slowing of the spread of Covid 19 by remembering to wash your hands frequently, be sure to always wear your mask and practice social distancing.

Love and Blessings from St. James AME Church in Danbury.
